100 Gothic Bridge Logic Puzzles for Adults — Link Every Lantern, Count Every Plank, Don’t Fall In
Connect every lantern. Don’t fall in.
Look inside

For longer than anyone in Gloomwick remembers, Barnaby Bogwort, the tall, stooped ferryman of Bogwater Mire, has rowed quiet travelers across the fog by lantern-light. Now he would like to rest. He has hired you, his new apprentice, to link the mire’s lantern islands with plank bridges, so that folk can cross without him. Ten regions of the mire lie ahead, from the Reedbeds by the town jetty to the Long Dark and the Last Lantern, and every one of them is a puzzle.
Each circle is a lantern island, and its number says how many bridges must touch it. Bridges run straight across or straight up and down, never cross each other, and join two islands with one or two planks. When you finish, every lantern must be linked into one network. Every puzzle has exactly one solution and can be solved by logic alone, with no guessing.
Adults who love logic puzzles and brain teasers, and anything a little bit spooky and a lot charming. A creepy-cute gift for goths, puzzle lovers and anyone who prefers their evenings foggy. Dark and whimsical, never gory.
Across the Mire is book 4 of the Owlbrook Oddities, a series of gothic puzzle books set in the fog-bound town of Gloomwick. Each book stands alone.
